NEW Community Card Keys
The Cinco Ranch II Board of Directors is pleased to announce an upgrade to the community card key system that allows access into the Association facilities, which includes the swimming pools, tennis courts, and the Lake House. The existing system is older technology and it is becoming difficult to find supplies (especially cards) and support. We were aware of this issue and are financially prepared for this expense. The new system will be installed in April.

 

The card keys currently used by homeowners will not work with the new system and it will be necessary to exchange those for new ones. We will be holding special events to facilitate the card key exchange at the Lake House located at 25202 Springwood Lake Drive. There will be no cost for the new card key when an old card key is turned in; a new key will be issued for every old key surrendered. Additional card keys will be available for purchase at a cost of $25.00 each. We will only be accepting checks or credit/debit cards for newly purchased card keys (no cash will be accepted).

 

During the special events, the following must be presented.

•  Old card key(s)
•  Proof of residency (such as a drivers’ license, home closing statement, rental agreement, or utility bill, with a Cinco Ranch II address)

 

The dates for the card key exchange events at the Lake House are:

•  Saturday, April 29th, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
•  Friday, May 5th, 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
•  Saturday, May 6th, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

 

Once the new system is installed, residents also have the option of obtaining card keys by visiting the Lake House on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during regular business hours (9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.). In addition, the Lake House will be open several additional days to exchange card keys.

•  Tuesday, May 2nd, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
•  Thursday, May 4th, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
•  Tuesday, May 9th, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
•  Thursday, May 11th, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

 

Residents are encouraged to take advantage of early registration. All residents that register by noon on Thursday, April 27th will have their card keys prepared in advance and available at a will call pick up dedicated to early registrants only. You will simply need to turn in your old card key(s) and show your proof of residency and your prepared package with your new card key(s) will be handed to you. This could certainly save on waiting time! As an added bonus, the first 500 early registrants will receive a special Cinco Ranch wristlet keychain!
