With summer upon us, there has been an increase in vandalism in the community. This includes graffiti on many of the tunnels and monuments and trespassing at the pools.
Should you see graffiti in the tunnels, parks, or monuments we ask that you report your sightings to C.I.A. Services via one of the following: customercare@ciaservices.com, www.mycincoranch.com or call the office at 713-981-9000. Please do not attempt to remove the graffiti yourself as this potentially causes more harm than good.
Cinco Ranch II has also been advised that people have been entering the pools after they have closed for the day. We urge residents to refrain from this type of activity! This is considered trespassing and you could be subject to criminal charges. Should you see people in the pools during closing hours please contact the Fort Bend Sheriff's Department at 281-341-4665.
Recently, the Westridge Creek pool was vandalized by young adults breaking in after-hours and pouring oil down the slide which emptied into the pool. In an effort to remove the oil, the pool has been emptied and refilled two times and chemical agents added to dissolve the grease. Unfortunately, it has not all cleared from the circulation system and we are continuing to work on a resolution. The slides will be closed until all of the oil is removed.
The Westridge Creek splash pad is currently operational during regularly scheduled pool hours. Upon repairs to the activator button, the splash pad will resume operations from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.

It’s time to start thinking about hanging lights and decking out your front yard with creative and festive decorations for the holidays. The Beautification Committee is sponsoring the second annual Holiday Decorating Contest for all homes within CRRA2. Due to the size of the community, the Committee will group neighborhoods into three separate sections. Judging will be done by the Committee members starting the week of December 3rd, and one home from each section will be selected as a winner. Winners will have a sign placed in their yard and receive a special gift. Let your creative juices start flowing and get ready for the holiday season!
The Board of Directors for Cinco Southwest MUD No. 3 are pleased to announce the installation of smart meters in the District. The smart meters replaced your old positive displacement water meter. Please note, installation should be completed by end of October 2018. Once your meter has been replaced it takes 5 – 10 business days to provision before you can start utilizing the data. On the back of your water bill is the notification regarding how to set up your “Eye on Water” account. The enrollment process is less than five minutes, this will allow you to monitor your usage and set up a leak alert. The leak alert will notify you via test or email if the meter detects continuous usage for a 24 hour period. If you have any questions regarding setting up the “eye on water” account or the changeover, please email elizabeth.reeves@inframark.com.
If you are unsure as to which MUD you reside in, please see the MUD Map at the Community Maps page.
Cinco SW MUD 3 encompasses the following area:
Your Board of Directors recently adopted a new set of guidelines for landscaping, to supplement the current Architectural Guidelines and Community Covenants. These new guidelines outline what type of grass may used, the maximum allowable height of your grass, and other general guidelines for the overall maintenance of the landscaping on your property. The biggest item to change of note is grass – previously, the Community Covenants only allowed Bermuda grass (in the “original” sections, St. Augustine was allowed). Under this new guideline, in addition to Bermuda, Zoysia and St. Augustine are now also allowed. More information regarding the new Landscaping Guidelines can be found under the Home Improvements page and the Documents/Meetings/Budgets page.
The first tennis courts to open in Cinco Ranch 2 were the Rosewood Tennis Courts. These courts are nearly 10 years old. For those of you who have played on these courts recently, you will have noticed that they are beginning to show. For this reason, your Board of Directors has approved a resurfacing project. This much needed maintenance will take place beginning June 25. Provided that the weather cooperates, the Rosewood Tennis Courts are expected to re-open the morning of June 30. Keep an eye out on the Tennis page for further updates. Once this project is completed, be on the lookout for some before and after photos!
